What are the responsibilities and job description for the HVAC Service Technician position at Kevin's Plumbing and Heating?
**** Position is Located in MINOT, North Dakota ****
This is an on-site role based in Minot, North Dakota. Candidates must either currently reside in or be willing to relocate to the area.
We’re looking for a skilled HVAC Technician who knows the trade and can handle service work without handholding. If you don’t have at least 2 years of real HVAC experience, do not apply. This is not a training position.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on service experience in heating, cooling, and ventilation (residential or commercial).
- EPA Certification required.
- Mechanical, gas piping, or other trade certifications are strongly encouraged.
- Clean driving record – you’ll be driving a company vehicle.
- No criminal record - you'll be in customer's homes and places of business.
- Must be able to lift, push, and pull heavy items, 100 lbs when needed.
- Work includes tight spaces, roofs, ladders, and crawl areas – if you’re afraid of heights, confined spaces, or getting dirty, this isn’t the job for you.
- Must know your way around hand tools, meters, gauges, and diagnostic equipment.
- Show up on time, work hard, and treat customers and coworkers with respect.
- Reside in or relocate to Minot, ND.
