About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Special Education Teacher to join our team!
This is a classroom of students ages 11-15 years with multiple impairments and complex medical needs. The focus of educational programming is multisensory learning used to develop academic, social, and communication skills.
Candidates must be able to physically assist students (positioning, toileting, equipment needs) and use a Hoyer lift. Students require assistance with mealtimes, hygiene, and other activities of daily living.

What You'll Do
•Design and implement individualized, differentiated instruction
•Support students with behavioral, sensory, and physical needs
•Collaborate with therapists and specialists to develop IEP-aligned strategies
•Create a nurturing, organized, and inclusive classroom environment
•Guide students through practical skill-building experiences

Who You Are
•Licensed Special Educator in Massachusetts (DESE Certification Required)
•Skilled at working with students on the autism spectrum and with behavioral challenges
•Passionate about inclusive education, student-centered learning, and teamwork
•Strong communicator, problem-solver, and advocate for equity
