Our law firm's paralegal will support our fast-growing plaintiff's injury firm and interact with clients, medical providers, attorneys, judges, and other legal professionals. To keep this high-performance machine working well, organization and attention to detail are two of the most important qualities for this position. Together, we assist our clients in overcoming challenges and building a better life.


To be a part of our team, it is recommended that you have at least 5-7 years of experience as a paralegal (prior personal injury AND litigation experience is preferred).


As a paralegal, a typical day might include the following:

1. Address each task list assigned through our case management system each day.

2. Respond to emails and telephone calls within 24-hours in a manner that is solution oriented.

3. Assist in drafting pleadings, discovery requests, and motions.

4. Maintain organized client files, including discovery production, medical records, expert documents and trial exhibits.

5. Complete summaries of medical expenses, treatment records, and reports.

7. Communicate with clients who are going through difficult circumstances.

8. Facilitate communication with experts to provide documents and obtain reports.

9. Complete e-filing of documents in state and federal court.

10. Calendaring and scheduling deadlines and court dates and complete administrative support tasks for attorneys.

Must Haves:

  • Understand Missouri & Kansas court rules for civil procedure.
  • Experience e-filing in PACER, Casenet and Kansas Courts.
  • Experience drafting pleadings, discovery documents, and correspondence.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications, Adobe Acrobat DC, case management software (we use Filevine), and research tools.
  • Proofread, revise, and edit legal documents and correspondence.
  • Bonus: Bilingual in English and Spanish (not required, but a plus)
