Senior Construction Estimator- Based in Napa, California
Our client is a established and growing construction organization is seeking an experienced Senior Construction Estimator to join their team in a key leadership role reporting directly to the Chief Estimator.
This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned estimating professional with strong technical expertise, leadership capability, and the ability to manage multiple complex projects in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare detailed and competitive cost estimates for construction projects
• Analyze plans, specifications, and project documentation
• Coordinate with estimators, engineering, operations, and accounting teams
• Review subcontractor and supplier pricing for compliance and competitiveness
• Develop and maintain historical cost databases and production data
• Support bid preparation, pre-bid meetings, and occasional site visits
• Assist with scheduling, budgeting, and scope coordination activities
• Train team members on estimating software and processes
• Support subcontractor and supplier contract negotiations
• Ensure compliance with company standards and industry regulations
Requirements:
• Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or equivalent field experience
• 6 years of construction estimating experience, ideally in a senior-level role
• Strong proficiency with HCSS, Bluebeam, P6 Primavera, and Microsoft Office
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines with a high level of accuracy
