Role Description The Litigation Paralegal will support personal injury litigation by managing case files, coordinating with clients, and assisting the attorney with all phases of the legal process. Day-to-day responsibilities include organizing and maintaining documents, drafting and filing pleadings and motions, scheduling and tracking deadlines, and communicating with courts, medical providers, and insurance companies. The role also involves conducting legal research, summarizing medical records, preparing discovery responses, and assisting with trial preparation, including exhibits and witness lists. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Duluth, GA, requiring consistent office presence and collaboration with the attorney and other staff.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Legal Document Preparation and Document Review.
- Candidates should possess solid experience in Legal Research to support case strategy and preparation.
- Candidates should possess the ability to draft and format Pleadings and Motions for filing in court.
- Relevant experience in personal injury or civil litigation is highly beneficial.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, including professional interaction with clients and court personnel.
