What are the responsibilities and job description for the Kennel Technician with Grooming Experience position at Kevertin Pet Resort?
We are seeking a reliable, compassionate, and detail-oriented Kennel Technician with basic grooming experience to join our busy boarding kennel. Experience in a kennel setting or professional animal care environment is strongly preferred.
This position requires hands-on animal care as well as basic grooming skills, including bathing, nail trims, and ear cleaning. Grooming experience does not need to be advanced or formal grooming certification, but prior hands-on experience is required.
Job Requirements:
- Ability to perform a physically demanding job involving walking, standing, bending, and lifting 40 pounds
- Comfortable handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments
- Experience bathing dogs, trimming nails, and assisting with basic grooming tasks
- Compassionate, patient, and highly detail-oriented
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Must be dependable and able to work weekends
