Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated EMT to provide safe, high-quality patient care during emergency and non-emergency medical transports. You'll work alongside our EMT Lead and operations team, following established protocols to make sure every patient reaches their destination safely and with dignity.
Key Responsibilities
Patient Care & Transport
- Assess patient condition and acuity level before and during transport
- Assist patients with transfers using proper body mechanics and lifting techniques
- Safely transport patients to and from hospitals, nursing homes, dialysis centers, and private residences
Team Coordination & Communication
- Maintain professional communication with dispatchers, facility staff, and family members
- Complete accurate Patient Care Reports (PCRs) and required documentation for each transport
Operations Support
- Inspect, clean, and restock the assigned vehicle daily
- Comply with all applicable SOPs, policies, and medical protocols
Qualifications &; Skills
- Current State EMT Certification (EMT-Basic or higher, as required by state)
- Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record
- CPR Certification
- Strong empathy, patience, and professional bedside manner
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including overtime when needed
