Inventory Control Coordinator

Job Overview:

Inventory Control Coordinator - Ottumwa, Iowa

The Inventory Control Coordinator checks inventory figures, postings and documents to ensure accuracy. Invoices customers, handles follow-up questions from customers and resolves any discrepancies for our facility.

Shift & Schedule

This is a full time position working 1st shift, Monday - Friday (weekends as needed), from 6:00am - 2:30pm. Flexibility to work overtime, weekends and holidays as scheduled is required.

Position Responsibilities

• Invoice customers, handle follow-up questions from customers and resolve any discrepancies.
• Compile requests for materials, prepare purchase orders, keep track of purchases and supplies and handle inquiries about orders.
• Track all incoming and out going shipments of goods transferred between Vendors, businesses and customers.
• Handle period ending inventory accounting duties to resolve billing issues related to items purchased for Operations.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred
• 2 years experience in inventory control
• Proficient within MS Office including Outlook & Excel
