Fleet Diesel Mechanic III- Victorville, CA
About The Role
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and necessary repairs to automobiles, trucks (light and heavy), trailers, vans and forklifts (MHE).
- Disassembles and overhauls motors, transmissions, clutches, rear ends and electrical systems.
- Complete all necessary documents, including vehicle records.
- Manage ordering and inventory of parts.
- Work with diesel-specific, hydraulics, electrical, suspension, and breaks.
- Will act as a mentor to the class I & II mechanics.
- Tuesday through Saturday
- Tuesday through Friday from 9:30am until finished
- Saturday from 6:30am until finished
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed

Total Rewards:
- Pay starting at $35.26 per hour. The employee will move to a higher rate of $37.02 per hour in the quarter after their 6 month anniversary.

- High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred
- Valid driver’s license
- Lift, push, and pull a minimum of 50 pounds repeatedly
- 4 years of fleet experience with the ability to work on all types of power units, trailers, and material handling equipment
- 4 years of previous experience working on diesel-specific, hydraulics, electrical, suspension, and breaks, certifications preferred.
- 3 years of experience using a computer to run diagnostics on fleet vehicles
- Able to supply own set of tools
