Job Summary
We are a Manufacturer's Representative firm in the Toy and Gift industry looking to grow our B2B sales team. We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Key Accounts Manager to join our team, covering regional and national accounts. The ideal candidate will have existing B2B sales experience and experience working in or with Retail companies. This role requires a strong understanding of the retail market, excellent sales and marketing skills, and the ability to generate leads and close deals. If you have a passion for sales and a love of toys, this might be a perfect fit.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and Develop an existing customer base of regional and national Key Accounts with a growth oriented approach
  • Conduct research and engage in prospecting activities to onboard new customers
  • Design curated product presentations for accounts, and present these in-person or via virtual meetings
  • Attend regional and national trade shows, as well as customer line reviews
  • Provide sales-supporting activities such as order entry, customer service, category management analysis, forecasting, sample ordering, etc.
  • Track sales metrics and prepare reports on performance against targets.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office software suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, Powerpoint, etc.)
  • Familiarity with Retail procurement (including merchandising, inventory, purchasing, etc).
  • Proven experience in B2B sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
  • Ability to travel frequently to see customers or attend shows.

Notes

  • This position is a Full Time, in-office role located in Eden Prairie, MN. Medical and dental benefits and a competitive salary with a performance based bonus are offered with this position.
  • Travel to customer appointments and trade shows is required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
