Responsibilities & Requirements
The General X-Ray Machine Operator performs a limited scope of diagnostic X-Ray procedures to include Chest/Abdomen, Extremity, Skull-Sinuses, Spine only. Duties, both professional and non-clinical, performed consistent with optimal image quality. Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education
High School Diploma
Certification/Licensure: Valid State of Ohio GXMO license in the following modules required at the time of hire: Chest/Abdomen, Extremity, Skull-Sinuses, Spine and Pediatric.
Minimum Work Experience
Completion of the first year of a Radiographic technology program.
Required Licenses
[Ohio, United States] Other
Basic Life Support
Required Skills
Effective communication techniques
Radiation Safety principles, Xray positioning.
