POSITION: SCHOOL NURSE
Effective 2026-27 School Year
LOCATION: KETTERING CITY SCHOOLS
GENERAL INFORMATION: This person will conduct and coordinate school health services and programs for the Kettering City School District. MUST BE A REGISTERED NURSE WITH SCHOOL NURSE LICENSURE OR PURSUING CERTIFICATION.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES, Partial List
1. Conducts health screening and tests.
2. Refers students for medical and dental care.
3. Maintains up-to-date cumulative health records.
4. Provides care for ill and injured students.
5. Implements policy on exclusions.
6. Prepares reports for Superintendent and State Board of Health.
QUALIFICATIONS, Partial List
1. Bachelor' s degree.
2. Valid Ohio Professional Nurse's License.
3. Valid Ohio Driver's License.
4. Must pass criminal background checks and pre-employment drug screening.
5. Collaboration and problem-solving skills.
SALARY: According to the approved salary schedule.
