Automotive Test Technician

Technician Qualifications

a. Must have valid U.S. driver's license.

b. Must be minimum 18 years old.

c. Ability to communicate using Microsoft Applications (e.g.- analyze data in MS Excel, Summarize

concern in MS PowerPoint)

d. High School Diploma and Automotive Technical certification/degree or equivalent experience and

education

e. 3 years of related experience as an automotive technician

f. High voltage system/battery safety training.

g. Experience with various alternative energy vehicle platforms preferred (BEV, Hybrid, Hydrogen,

etc.)

h. Proficiency with diagnostic equipment, strong technical skills, attention to detail, ability to work

independently and as part of a team.

1. Physical requirements

a. Ability to open and close vehicle doors and trunk/tailgate manually.

b. Ability to drive for long periods of time on bumps and rough roads resulting in persistent vibration,

jarring, and uneven impact to the back, neck, shoulders, arms, and hands for an extended period

of time.

c. Capable of positioning oneself into bending, stretching, climbing, or awkward positions.

d. Must be able to remain in a stationary position (driver's seat) for an extended period of time.

e. Ability to communicate with customers and co-workers.

f. Ability to enter data into a computer.

Pay: $ $35.00 per hour
