Overview
We are seeking energetic and detail-oriented part-time Test Drivers for first and second shifts. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting vehicle tests, ensuring quality standards, and collecting data to support automotive development projects. This position offers a dynamic environment where safety, precision, and proactive problem-solving are essential.
We are looking for experienced CDL A candidates that are available to work 2-5 shifts during the week on either 1st or 2nd shift.
Pay rate: $20.00/hr. while driving 1/2 ton pick-up truck pulling small trailer. $22.00/hr. while driving HD truck with attached gooseneck trailer.
Monday - Friday:
1st shift: 4:00am to 12:30pm
2nd shift: 4:00pm to 12:30am
Weekend Shifts: 7am to 3:30pm
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Complete a full vehicle evaluation and complete a clear and concise report and any other records for each vehicle during assigned shift.
- Drive on designated routes for 8 – 10 hour shifts while performing test procedures.
- Participate in all vehicle testing including but not limited to driving and designated special tests.
- Operate vehicles in an extremely safe manner, obeying all laws of the road.
- Maintain safety and security procedures.
- Must be comfortable driving in inclement weather.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Possess a valid CDL A for a minimum of 3 years. Have no points, no major traffic citations, and/or accidents for the past two years.
- Have at least 1 year of operating truck while pulling trailer.
- No alcohol related violations on your driving record.
- Able to pass a background check, pre-employment drug screening.
- High school graduate or equivalent required.
- Ability to drive for prolonged periods of time.
- Accurately communicate detailed findings verbally and legibly write detailed findings on reporting forms.
- Follow directions and execute tasks.
- Be reliable and maintain good attendance.
- Complete required trainings.
- Have a positive attitude and ability to contribute to a team environment.
- Remain in a professional manner at all times.
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
