Primary Purpose of Position:
The Maintenance Team Leader will oversee the maintenance and repair activities for all injection molding equipment, auxiliary systems, and facilities equipment. This role involves hands-on troubleshooting, team coordination, and continuous improvement of processes to ensure machine uptime, product quality, and operational efficiency.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of maintenance technicians in daily preventative, corrective, and emergency maintenance activities.
- Ensure the reliability and availability of all molding machinery, robotics, conveyors, chillers, dryers, and other associated equipment.
- Assign and prioritize work orders, monitor progress, and provide technical support to the team as needed.
- Maintain and develop preventative maintenance schedules, ensuring compliance with OEM specifications and safety standards.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality departments to minimize downtime and optimize machine performance.
- Train and mentor team members, promoting a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for recurring issues.
- Document all maintenance activities in the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
- Support implementation of lean manufacturing, 5S, TPM, and other operational excellence initiatives.
- Other tasks as assigned.
Requirements:

Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED required; technical degree or certification in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in injection molding maintenance, preferably with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Experience with PLCs, robotics, and automated manufacturing systems is a plus.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and respond effectively to changing priorities.
