Patient Experience Liaison (Part-Time)

Location: Garden City, NY | Pay: $40 to $45 per hour | Hours: Approximately 15 to 25 per week

About The Role

Keta Medical Center is seeking a part-time Patient Experience Liaison for our growing Garden City clinic. Most of this role is focused on supporting patients from their first visit through ongoing care. As the clinic grows, the Liaison will also help with front desk and administrative tasks as needed.

Primary Responsibilities

• Serve as a main point of contact for new and existing patients, answering questions about treatment, programs, and scheduling.
• Greet new patients and lead orientations on the program, clinic staff, and what to expect during treatment.
• Track patient progress and follow up on missed or delayed sessions.
• Assist with care coordination, therapist assignments, and scheduling.
• Communicate patient needs and concerns to physicians, nurses, and therapists, and attend regular team meetings.
• Participate in community events as needed.
  
  

Additional Responsibilities (as Needed)

• Patient check-in/check-out, payments, and scheduling.
• Answering calls and patient questions.
• Maintaining accurate patient records in line with HIPAA.
• Supporting insurance and billing-related tasks.
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• Excellent communication and organizational skills with a warm, patient-centered approach.
• Comfortable working with mental health patients while maintaining professional boundaries.
• Flexible with a variable schedule, including weekends as needed.
• Willing to help with front desk and administrative tasks.
• Able to work independently and with clinical and administrative teams.
• Healthcare, mental health, or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to occasionally cover other Keta Medical Center offices is a plus.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
• Familiarity with EHR and CRM systems, including Salesforce.
• Experience with community outreach in a healthcare or mental health setting.
