Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Baltimore, MD, for a Building Engineer. The Building Engineer will be responsible for conducting routine preventive maintenance, addressing urgent repairs, and managing the general upkeep of the facility. Daily tasks include overseeing building systems operation, plumbing tasks, maintenance and repairs, and coordinating facility management requirements. The role also requires ensuring that all building systems comply with safety standards and operate efficiently.
Qualifications
- Competency in Building Maintenance, Preventive Maintenance, and addressing maintenance and repair needs for various systems and structures
- 1st, 2nd or 3rd Grade Stationary Engineer License
- Experience in Plumbing and ensuring proper operation and repair of plumbing systems
- Strong skills in Facility Management (FM) and maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory standards
- Ability to diagnose issues quickly and provide appropriate solutions
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Proficiency in reading and understanding technical manuals and schematics is preferred
- EPA and HVAC certifications are a plus
