What are the responsibilities and job description for the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst position at Kestrel Vision?
We’re seeking an FP&A Analyst to support financial planning, forecasting, and performance analysis in a manufacturing and operations-focused environment. This role partners closely with Finance leadership and operational teams to deliver accurate forecasts, meaningful variance analysis, and financial insights that support day-to-day and strategic decision-making.This an onsite role in our Cleveland (Solon) location, and is not eligible for relocation assistance. What You’ll DoDevelop and maintain financial models supporting revenue, cost, and cash flow forecastingPrepare annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and operating plansAnalyze variances between actual results and forecasts, with a focus on operational driversPrepare monthly and quarterly financial reporting packagesTrack and analyze KPIs related to cost, efficiency, and profitabilityPartner with Operations, Sales, and other teams to provide financial guidanceSupport business cases for capital investments and process improvement initiativesEnsure accuracy, consistency, and documentation of financial data and modelsWhat We’re Looking ForBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA preferred)3 years of FP&A experience; manufacturing or operations exposure strongly preferredAdvanced financial modeling and Excel skillsStrong understanding of financial statements and cost driversExpertise with BI and reporting tools (Power BI preferred)Clear communicator with strong attention to detail and follow-throughWe're an equal opportunity employer.
