Locations: Can be based in Alabama, Columbus, GA, Destin, FL, or Tallahassee, FL
Major Responsibilities:
- Achieve or exceed revenue goals across an assigned territory and account base
- Develop new business while expanding relationships within existing oncology practices, hospitals, health systems, and integrated delivery networks
- Drive adoption of a comprehensive portfolio of advanced oncology diagnostic and molecular testing solutions
- Build strong relationships with oncologists, pathologists, laboratory leadership, health system stakeholders, and other key clinical decision-makers
- Deliver compelling clinical and business presentations demonstrating the value and utility of precision oncology solutions
- Develop strategic territory and account plans to identify opportunities, navigate complex sales cycles, and grow testing volume
- Educate healthcare providers on emerging oncology diagnostics, biomarkers, and testing applications
- Partner cross-functionally with clinical, scientific, market access, and commercial teams to develop and close new business opportunities
- Maintain a strong understanding of the competitive landscape, customer needs, reimbursement environment, and market trends
- Analyze territory performance and market data to identify growth opportunities and competitive threats
- Travel throughout the assigned territory for customer meetings, conferences, sales meetings, and training events
Qualifications
Required
- Five or more years of successful sales experience within oncology
- Experience selling oncology diagnostics, molecular testing, genomic testing, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, or other complex oncology solutions
- Established relationships with oncologists and other key stakeholders across oncology practices, hospitals, health systems, or integrated delivery networks
- Demonstrated success achieving sales objectives and managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
- Strong clinical aptitude and the ability to communicate complex scientific and technical information effectively
- Experience developing new business while expanding established accounts
- Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, biology, business, marketing, or a related field preferred
- Experience using CRM platforms and Microsoft Office
Preferred
- Direct experience selling molecular diagnostics, precision oncology, genomic testing, or cancer-related diagnostic solutions
- Relationships with medical oncologists, hematologist-oncologists, pathologists, laboratory leadership, and other oncology decision-makers
- Understanding of solid tumors, hematologic malignancies, biomarkers, and precision medicine
- Experience navigating oncology practices, hospital systems, academic medical centers, and integrated delivery networks
- Excellent communication, presentation, analytical, and relationship-building skills
Compensation
- Approx. $250k-275k
