Come build, innovate, disrupt, and thrive! KēSTA I.T is actively seeking FHIR Java Developer for an immediate contract engagement with our government client. Work Location: This position is Remote Job Description:We are seeking a skilled FHIR and Java Developer to support the implementation of a CMS-mandated Healthcare Interoperability initiative. This role will collaborate closely with development and business teams to design, develop, and deploy FHIR-based API solutions aligned with interoperability standards and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have expertise with HL7 FHIR, Java-based development, RESTful APIs, and cloud technologies.Responsibilities:·         Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define technical specifications for healthcare data exchange.·         Architect and design API solutions using FHIR resources and interoperability standards.·         Develop, implement, and enhance HL7 FHIR interfaces and integration solutions.·         Perform testing, troubleshooting, and validation to ensure accuracy, compatibility, and reliability.·         Develop RESTful microservices and secure API interactions.·         Work across teams to integrate web applications with FHIR endpoints and backend data sources.·         Perform data mapping between source systems and FHIR resources.·         Maintain and support existing FHIR interfaces and integrations.·         Create and maintain documentation for solutions, processes, and system architecture.·         Stay current on interoperability best practices and regulatory compliance updates.Required Skills:·         Hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, JavaScript, and Oracle.·         Strong understanding of the HL7 FHIR 4.0.1 standard, including implementation guides such as Da Vinci, CARIN, and US Core.·         Minimum 2 years of experience with HL7 FHIR development and implementation.·         Experience developing microservices and RESTful APIs.·         Hands-on experience using OAuth and securing APIs.·         Experience performing data mapping to FHIR resources.·         Strong understanding of AWS cloud services and AWS DevOps.·         .Available Benefits:·         Medical Benefits (Platinum level plans available)·         Work from home / Hybrid / Onsite options·         PTO·         Holiday Pay·         VTO·         401K·         Charitable Match·         Training reimbursement About KēSTA I.T.: Our name says it all; KēSTA I.T.
