Essential Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively within a small team on multiple complex international shareholder actions.
- Conduct extensive legal research and writing on issues both within and outside the United States.
- Research and compile evidence on various corporate and non-corporate legal structures.
- Develop and execute litigation strategies, including document collection, organization, and case tracking.
- Communicate routinely with institutional investors, custodian banks, and other key stakeholders.
- Highly organized self-starter with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Strong research, writing, and analytical abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments with minimal supervision and meet competing deadlines.
- Professional judgment, discretion, and a consistently positive, composed demeanor.
- Ability to learn on the job and successfully integrate guidance and feedback.
- Knowledge of, or demonstrated interest in, international and comparative law is beneficial.
- Proficiency in or advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365.
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the Pennsylvania Bar in good standing (or eligibility to waive in).
- 1-3 years of legal experience.
- Position operates in a professional office environment with regular computer and telephone use.
- Occasional lifting or carrying of case files and related materials (up to 15 lbs.).
- Requires the ability to analyze large volumes of information and data on a daily basis.
- Work hours may exceed 40 hours per week based on client and court demands.
- Occasional travel by car, train, or airplane may be required.
- Reliable internet access is required for remote work.
