What are the responsibilities and job description for the Installation Technician position at KESSLER SIGN COMPANY?
As a sign installation technician for Kessler Sign Company candidates will be required to assist and take ownership on sign installation projects small and large. Sign installing jobs include tasks ranging from digging holes to painting poles and cabinets, to lifting heavy loads. Problem solving skills are an important daily requirement as no two jobs are exactly the same and finding solutions on the fly can become the norm. Being able to take things apart and put them back together is an important part of the job. Candidates should not be afraid of heights as they will be tasked with installation projects safely up to 150' feet. Most jobs are outside throughout the state of Ohio year round. The position requires daily travel, but staying overnight for a job is minimal. Candidates should expect at least 40 hours a week with the potential for overtime pay often. We are looking for self motivated team players with a strong work ethic and the ability to be coached and take direction seamlessly. Pay rate will be determined by previous work experience in the sign installation industry or level of skills in electrical work, welding, construction or comparable trait. Previous experience operating trucks with cranes, buckets, backhoes, etc. is important. A CDL license will increase pay scale level, but not mandatory. Background checks and drug tests are mandatory.
