HOTEL BUILDING MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

JOB SUMMARY

The Hotel Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the physical functionality and safety of the hotel to deliver outstanding guest service. Positions open for Evening & Overnight. Base Pay Shift Differential.

What will I be doing?

You will play a key role in the repairs and maintenance of the hotels, assist with the preventative maintenance program as directed and assist with support, repair and renovation projects. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

· Maintain the physical functionality and safety of the facility including, but not limited to, guest rooms, public spaces, outdoor pools and water features, testing chemistry and cleaning.

· Respond to team member work orders in a timely, friendly and efficient manner to assess and repair non-functioning machinery and/or equipment.

· Perform a variety of repair and maintenance tasks including, but not limited to plumbing, electrical work, refrigeration, kitchen skills, HVAC work and lighting.

· Conduct preventive maintenance work orders

· Record and report completed repairs and items that require further attention.

The ideal candidate will:

Love the look and quality presentation of all hotel facilities, be detail oriented, and pride yourself on the quality of work completed.

Be Available to work some Holidays

Provide a professional image at all times through appearance and dress.

To be successful in this role, you need basic verbal and written communication skills. This job requires continuous movement, regular bending, lifting, carrying, and moving up to 80 pounds. You must also be able to stand and walk for an entire shift.

Experience Required:

· General Maintenance Technician: 2 years

· Hotel maintenance: 1 year

· High School Diploma or GED

· Valid Drivers License
