Role Objective:
Ensure individual compliance with FDA regulations, cGMPs, and all other applicable requirements, applicable department programs to include training, documentation, standard operating procedures, and Kesin Pharma Corporation policies. The QA Warehouse Receiving Inspector is responsible for ensuring that all incoming goods meet established quality, quantity, and compliance standards before they enter inventory. This role plays a critical part in maintaining supply chain integrity, preventing defective or non-conforming materials from reaching production or customers
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with all current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs), SOPs, and facility safety standards as related to the equipment, work area, and personnel.
- Reviews, perform sampling, and disposition of product at various stages for: all received bulk materials and components, raw materials, in-process material, and finished goods.
- Work closely with logistics, warehouse and QA personnel to ensure incoming materials meet the established requirements.
- Responsible for retain/reserve sample management.
- Inspect all incoming shipments for accuracy, quantity, condition, and conformance to purchase orders and quality specifications.
- Perform visual, dimensional, and functional checks using calipers, scales, gauges, and other measuring instruments.
- Document inspection results accurately in the warehouse management system (WMS) or ERP platform; generate non-conformance reports (NCRs) as needed.
- Quarantine, tag, and coordinate disposition of rejected, damaged, or non-conforming materials in accordance with company procedures.
- Verify supplier certifications, material safety data sheets (MSDS/SDS), certificates of conformance (CoC), and other required documentation.
- Communicate inspection findings to QA management, procurement, and suppliers, support corrective action follow-up.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and assist in developing or updating receiving inspection procedures and checklists.
- Comply with all applicable safety regulations, GMP guidelines, and ISO or other relevant quality management standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in pharmaceutical GMP environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of FDA regulations related to GMP is preferred.
- Thorough knowledge of quality control/assurance and/or operations is preferred.
- Must have a good interpersonal and communication skill in English, understand both oral and written instructions, and be detail oriented.
- General computer knowledge of basic software, i.e., Microsoft Word, Excel, email communication.
- BS/BA degree in science or other related discipline is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. High school diploma or GED equivalence required.
- Able to stand, bend, and stoop for extended periods of time and ability to lift 45 lbs. unassisted.
- The facility is in two neighboring buildings, and routine movement between buildings is required.
