What are the responsibilities and job description for the Indirect Buyer position at Kersia, inventing a food safe world?
Weare recruiting for an Indirect Corporate Buyer to join our USA team workingclosely with counterparts within the region and across the wider Kersia Group. Thesuccessful candidate will be responsiblefor:
· assistingwith the establishment of a new indirect purchasing team
· leadingand supporting the management of strategic supplier relationships, includingnegotiation of key supply contracts and agreements, contract performance &service
· seekingout opportunities for regional & group cost reduction synergies
· conductingand administering market tenders
· thecontrol, analysis and audit of indirect spending categories (Goods &Services) across multiple sites within the US ensuring appropriate resourcesand capabilities
· takingon a role of category leader for designated spend group(s) or supplier(s) on aglobal basis, as well as providing functional assistance to smallersubsidiaries
· ensuringcontrol of spending through the increased adherence to Kersia policy &systems
· assistingwith driving the cost reduction program and improved overall service
· assertivelyadvocating the value of procurement, to developrobust relationships, increase involvement and create alignment withbuy-in from internal stakeholders
· managementof the USA fleet services
· travelto suppliers and Kersia facilities as required
· monitoringand advising on significant changes to market prices, trends and shareinformation
· compiling,analysing and reporting on monthly purchasing spend data
· monitoringand driving KPIs including, process improvement, cost reduction, capacityplanning and delivery, payment terms, & CSR
Skills andExperience:
· Minimum 5 years’experience within a procurement environment driving beneficial commercialoutcomes within existing and potential supply base
· Practicalexperience in a manufacturing setting
· Successfulparticipation in cross-functional team initiatives
· Experienceof supporting and creating strategies
· Experienceof improving purchasing policy and governance
· Frenchlanguage (bonus)
