Position Summary: As a Quality Control Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and effectiveness of our lab operations within a 24/7 food production facility. Your leadership will span various critical areas, including supervision, compliance, product release management, process improvement, and collaboration.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and supervise QC technicians across multiple shifts in a 24/7 food production facility.
- Serve as the central point of contact for all QC laboratory-related matters, facilitating smooth communication and collaboration.
- Develop and mentor laboratory staff, conducting performance evaluations and offering constructive feedback to foster growth and advancement.
- Champion a culture of compliance awareness and responsibility across the laboratory, instilling a commitment to following established protocols and procedures.
- Review daily manufacturing and QC records for quality and food safety compliance before product release.
- Manage material release within defined timelines, ensuring on-time and complete delivery to customers.
- Implement effective lab workflows for timely material release.
- Investigate out-of-specification or out-of-trend results for timely product disposition and CAPA implementation.
- Manage the isolation, labelling, and inspection of non-conforming materials.
Qualifications and Preferred Skillset:
- B.S. in Chemistry, Food Science, or Microbiology; Master’s degree preferred.
- 3-5 years of Quality Control experience in food manufacturing or pharmaceutical industries.
- Familiarity with cGMP, FSMA, and ISO standards.
- Certified as a PCQI, demonstrating adherence to industry standards.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective collaboration in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
- Approachability and teamwork in building relationships.
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
- Flexibility for extended hours and weekends as required.

Pay Transparency
The typical hiring range for this role is $64,000 to $105,000 annually and is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, location, etc. In addition to your pay, Kerry offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and retirement contribution (all benefits and incentives are subject to eligibility requirements).
