• The role is an existing role to manage Compilator AB branch’s finance function

Key Responsibilities: 

Finance:

• Responsible for Accounts payable ledger including processing purchases invoices to the correct cost centre/GL and resolving any queries with suppliers.
• Responsible for Accounts receivable ledger and accurate and timely maintenance of the customer master file across multiple systems:
  • To process corrections from sales and support departments such as when order and delivery don’t match. 
  • Registering price increases in the DD5 ERP system. 
  • Queries handling, credit control, and liaising with sales department. 
  • Registering payments manually related to all contracts monthly.
  • For Pagero invoicing services, maintaining customer data in the system.
  • Customer Billing (Annual, Quarterly and Monthly) and manually processing any customers with unique contract terms.
• Maintaining customer and supplier master data.
• Reconciling the bank statements daily and assist with the future cash flow forecasting process.
• Preparing bank payments for accounts payable, tax authorities and payroll. Ensuring payments are made promptly and allowing time for approvals.
• Preparing the VAT declaration and submitting this in the tax portal 
• Gathering disbursement receipts from all employees, and maintaining holiday pay data for external payroll bureau
• Posting payroll journals received from external payroll bureau and uploading the payment file to the bank each month.
• Liaison with external payroll bureau on compliance matters.
• Periodic stock taking and reconciliation to the records. 
• Posting all required month end journals including accruals and prepayments. (Line manager will initially prepare the accrued and deferred revenue postings)
• Reconciliations and analysis of all balance sheet accounts in the monthly closing and year-end closing.

Systems/Admin:

• Working with the development group to fix any issues so they can fix any bugs in routine maintenance
• Updating new terms and conditions for customer contracts when needed such as for new products.
• Responsible for ordering of office supplies
• Handling regular mails and parcels to the company’s mailbox.
• Communicate any issues and significant items to your line manager

Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

Essential

• Ability to use Excel to an intermediate level
• Proven working experience in accounting
• Excellent communications skills, with the ability to translate financial information for non-finance stakeholders
• Business acumen and the ability to understand the impact of business change on financial accounts (vice versa)
• Self-sufficient with the ability to quality check and review own workings

Desirable 

• Familiar or confident working in a matrix organisation
