Screen Printer

Overview
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Screen Printer to join our creative team. This role involves translating digital designs into high-quality printed materials, ensuring color accuracy and precision in every print. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in graphic design, visual arts, and screen printing techniques, with an eye for detail and a passion for producing exceptional printed products. Experience with CorelDraw and related design tools is highly desirable to support the development of artwork and prepare files for printing.

Duties

• Prepare screens, inks, and equipment for printing processes, ensuring optimal setup for each project
• Transfer digital designs onto screens using exposure units or manual methods
• Mix and match inks to achieve accurate color reproduction based on design specifications
• Print designs onto various substrates including textiles, paper, or other materials with precision and consistency
• Conduct quality checks on printed products to ensure color fidelity, registration, and overall quality standards are met
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including cleaning screens and equipment after each use
• Collaborate with the design team to review artwork files, troubleshoot issues, and optimize print results
• Assist in developing new print techniques or experimenting with different materials to expand creative capabilities
• Follow safety procedures related to handling inks, chemicals, and printing equipment

Qualifications

• Proven experience in screen printing or related print production roles
• Strong knowledge of graphic design principles, typography, color theory, and visual aesthetics
• Proficiency with Corel Draw and other design tools.
• Familiarity with digital art, motion graphics, web design, CAD, or 3D animation is desirable but not required
• Ability to interpret technical drawings or digital files accurately for printing purposes
• Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity to produce high-quality prints consistently
• Knowledge of safety procedures related to chemical handling and equipment operation in a print environment
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
