Work experience requirements:
- One (1) year experience.
- Able to perform duties with minimal supervision.
- Keeps work area clean and organized to ensure safety and environmental compliance.
Education requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent training.
Job description and duties:
- Loads and unloads controlled atmospheric brazing and heat-treating furnaces.
- Operates control equipment, pyrometers, vacuum controllers, and hydrogen drying equipment.
- Correlates work and process requirements using manual or automatic control equipment.
- Maintains log for furnace runs, shift production, quality control recordings, and maintenance schedules.
- Assures proper maintenance of equipment, furnace fixtures, hydrogen storage, and supply, and all pressure, electric or electronic gages.
