Radiology Technologist – X-Ray
Full-Time Position | Mebane, NC

We are currently seeking a patient-focused Radiology Technologist to join our X-Ray Department at our Mebane location. The Radiology Technologist uses imaging modalities, performs radiographic procedures, applies principles of radiation protection, and evaluates radiographs for technical quality while exercising professional judgment and providing excellent patient care.
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Experience: One year of radiology experience in an outpatient clinic setting preferred. EPIC experience is a plus but not required.

Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Current A.R.R.T. certification (RT-R)
- Current BLS certification
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Adheres to all applicable federal and state regulations regarding the operation of radiological equipment.
- Checks in patients as needed.
- Verifies patient identity using two identifiers prior to performing diagnostic radiographic testing.
- Clearly explains the purpose and nature of radiology procedures to patients to minimize fear and anxiety.
- Positions and transfers patients using proper lifting techniques and immobilizes as necessary.
- Selects appropriate exposure factors by properly adjusting equipment on an individual basis.
