Position Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our team. This position focuses on prescription data entry, medication filling, and providing exceptional patient service in a collaborative pharmacy environment.
Schedule
- Part-time position
- Monday - Friday: Variable shifts between 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
- Every other Saturday: 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately enter prescription information into pharmacy system
- Fill and label prescriptions under pharmacist supervision
- Assist with inventory management and ordering
- Process insurance claims and resolve billing issues
- Communicate professionally with patients, physicians, and healthcare providers
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
- Assist with medication packaging and compounding as needed
- Provide excellent customer service to all patients
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Team-oriented with positive attitude
- Willingness to learn and adapt
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification
- Previous pharmacy technician experience
- Experience with Pioneer RX pharmacy software
- Knowledge of insurance billing and processing
