Job Description
Perform all duties required by law in the dispensing of prescriptions. This includes SNF prescriptions. Supervises all ancillary personnel while on duty. Counsels' patients and /or customers as required. 1-2 days per week consisting of 10 hours per day. Hours will include Saturdays and or Sundays. Retail Pharmacy Only.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Responsible for ensuring that billing is correct and oversees clerks and technicians in billing as needed.
- Interprets, clarifies, and fills prescription orders with no errors.
- Maintains all records including controlled drugs, inventory, and prescriptions.
- Ensure proper documentation as required by local, state, and Federal regulations.
- Supervises pharmacy technicians and clerks and coordinates workflow.
- Is willing and able to assist the PIC in onboarding new services to the community and is not afraid of a challenge.
- Other tasks and duties may be assigned as needed.
Qualifications & Skills
- Current and valid California Pharmacy License.
- BS in Pharmacy, Pharm D preferred.
- Excellent communication skills in both oral and writing.
- Strong attention to detail. Multitasking and ability to prioritize work.
- Good organizational skills.
- Has integrity, compassion, and empathy.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and, essentially, PrimeCare (QS1) would be a plus point.
Salary : $98
