FT **MID-LEVEL PRACTITIONER** (PA/NP)
$68.04 - $102.81 per hour
Overview: The Mid-Level Practitioner (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner) provides direct patient care at Mt. View Health Center under the supervision of the Medical Director.
Responsibilities include evaluating patients of all ages, managing acute and preventive care, and documenting in the electronic health record (EHR).
The practitioner collaborates with the Medical Director to develop and maintain required protocols and participates in clinic policy development and medical staff activities.

Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited PA or NP program
- Current California licensure as PA or NP
- DEA registration
- Current BLS certification; ACLS/PALS recommended
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Effective interpersonal and conflict resolution abilities
- Multilingual skills preferred
- Basic computer proficiency
- Competence in caring for diverse patient populations
- Develop and maintain delegation agreements or standardized procedures with the Medical Director
- Collaborate on clinic policies and procedures
- Conduct patient histories and physical exams
- Document care accurately in the EHR
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests
- Provide treatment aligned with medical standards
- Educate patients on disease management and prevention
- Maintain continuing education and certifications
- Administer medications safely and accurately
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff
- Address psychosocial and cultural needs of patients
- Promote patient safety and minimize errors
- Coordinate care with other departments as needed
- Meet documentation standards and clinic policies
