Job Description
Performs a variety of patient food services and dish duties, as well as other related duties.
Roles & Responsibilities
Duties can include but not limited to:
- Organizing tray cards.
- Working on the assembly of tray line meals.
- Communicating diet food concerns to the dietitian.
- Preparing cold food items.
- Working in the café.
- Stocking food and non-food items.
- Cleaning duties within the kitchen.
- Clean and sanitize all dishes etc.,
- Operating kitchen equipment.
- Checking dietary service requests.
Qualifications & Skills
- High school graduate or equivalent required.
- Hospital or food service experience preferred.
- Must be able to effectively communicate in English, both verbal and written.
- Frequently fast paced environment requires ability to handle stress and always interface professionally, tactfully and respectfully with staff, patients and general public.
Salary : $52,000
