Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily transportation operations, including scheduling, routing, and dispatching.
- Assist with procurement processes, including vendor selection, contract administration,
- Support budget monitoring and cost-control efforts related to transportation services.
- Maintain accurate records of transportation activities, costs, and performance metrics.
- Develop and maintain transportation procedures, ensuring alignment with organizational
- Monitor transportation performance to ensure timeliness, safety, and compliance with
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and government regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of transportation activities, including billing and invoicing.
- Resolve transportation-related issues and respond to client or member feedback.
- Oversee vehicle schedules and ensure readiness of fleet.
- Serve as liaison between carriers, drivers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to address
- Communicate effectively with drivers, vendors, and internal teams.
- Prepare reports on transportation performance metrics and cost analysis.
- Support special projects and assist other departments as needed.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience with scheduling software (e.g. TripMaster), Microsoft Office Suite, and
- Minimum of 2 years in transportation coordination, logistics, or customer service.
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or related field
- Bilingual Spanish/English (Tier I) Certificate preferred.
