Job Summary
**This position is in-person only at the VOCS Bakersfield Campus.** Under the direction of the Principal in the Valley Oaks Charter School (VOCS) division, supports the daily operation by coordinating student discipline, athletics, clubs and student activities, campus supervision, and selected facilities functions. Works collaboratively with administrators, staff, students, and families to maintain a safe and organized campus, coordinate programs, promote positive student engagement and school culture, and resolve issues. Serves as a member of the school leadership team, administers and coordinates processes related to student supervision, and responds to student disciplinary referrals. This position is located in Bakersfield, CA.
Requirements / Qualifications
Education and Credentials: • Must possess or be eligible for a valid Administration credential. • Must possess a valid teaching or pupil personnel services credential. Experience: • Successful experience in as school setting. • Successful experience coordinating athletics, student activities, or student discipline systems. • Experience working with CIF or other athletic governing bodies. Must possess a private vehicle, valid California driver’s license and carry current automobile insurance with at least minimum coverage for public liability and property damage. Fingerprint clearance by both the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the California Department of Justice is a condition of appointment after all other required job conditions have been met.
