What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cannabis Manufacturing Team Lead position at Kepler Holdings?
We are a medical and recreational cannabis company that serves consumers throughout the state with a grow and manufacturing facility in the Bozeman area. We are looking for an experience team lead to join our growing team and provide support to our post-harvest and production activities. The work schedule will be Monday through Friday with occasional weekends during harvests, approximately 38-40 hours per week, $22/hour. There are potential opportunities for upside as well as career growth in the industry. We provide opportunities and advancement based on merit. Requirements:
- Must live in the Bozeman/Belgrade/Gallatin Gateway area and have reliable transportation.
- Must have prior management experience
- Experience in Cannabis is preferred but not required, but experience in a production facility or manufacturing role is.
- Good hand eye skills for trimming and packaging, ability to listen and follow instruction, excellent team member and communicator!
- Must have good hygiene to protect the grow and products from microbials and bacteria.
- Key attributes for success: ability to show up for work consistently and on time, excellent communication skills and ability to listen and follow instructions, honestly and integrity, desire to learn how a successful cannabis company works, hard worker. We need a self-starter who can follow directions, work hard and fast and do things right the first time.
- Driver's license is a requirement to be a driver, and a clear driving history, otherwise only a federally recognized ID is necessary to get your worker's permit.
Duties:
- Seed-to-sale system management and data entry
- Scheduling and planning staffing
- Managing employees during the work day
- Harvesting, bucking, trimming, and processing finished cannabis flower.
- Production of joints and edibles.
- Assistance with packaging of flower, joints, edibles, and concentrates.
- Must be physically able to lift 50lbs at a time.
