General Manager – TacoTime (Kaysville, UT)

TacoTime has served fresh Mexican food since 1960. At our Kaysville restaurant we prep fresh every morning and take pride in doing things the right way. We’re looking for a hands-on General Manager to lead our team, raise our standards, and build a workplace people are proud to be part of.

What you’ll do

• Lead daily operations by working scheduled shifts, including hands-on work on the line, while setting the example for food safety, cleanliness, and guest service.
• Maintain food safety and brand standards, making sure issues are fixed and documented.
• Hire, train, schedule, and coach the crew and shift leads, holding everyone to the same clear standards.
• Communicate clearly and consistently with the team, owners, and vendors, and follow through on concerns.
• Complete performance reviews, coaching, and documentation fairly and on time.
• Manage labor and food costs, including scheduling, inventory, ordering, and waste control.
• Coordinate equipment repairs and maintenance with vendors.
• Keep the store ready every day for brand visits and health inspections.
• Deliver fast, friendly service and handle guest concerns professionally.

What you bring

• 2 years of restaurant management experience, quick-service preferred
• Food Protection Manager certification (ServSafe or equivalent), or the ability to get it within 30 days
• A valid Utah food handler permit, or the ability to get one
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Experience with scheduling, inventory, labor and food cost, and POS systems
• Organized and detail-oriented, comfortable with daily paperwork and digital tools
• Availability for days, evenings, and Saturdays (we’re closed Sundays)
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs

Pay and benefits

• Pay: $48,000–$60,000 per year, based on experience
