REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Applicant for associate vacancy must have a high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
Qualified person will work with students that have multiple IEP goals that may be both Academic and Behavioral in the special education setting.
JOB GOAL:
To assist, support, and work closely with teachers, administrators, and other team members in providing educational benefit for students.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work with individual students or small groups of students to reinforce learning of materials or skills initially introduced and outlined by certified staff
Monitor work and supervise as assigned by the certified staff
Perform clerical, classroom maintenance, and instructional duties as assigned by the teacher
Alert the certified staff to any problem or special information about an individual student
Perform assigned supervision of students during class and on field trips
Perform assigned non-instructional classroom duties, such as snack time, toileting, and clothing routines
Perform other such duties / assignments as directed by the teacher
