Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Auto Technician Mechanic to join our service team. Duties
- Diagnose and repair a wide range of automotive issues using automotive diagnostics tools and schematics
- Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, tire rotations, brake repairs, and fluid replacements
- Repair and maintain powertrain components, electrical systems, and vehicle alignment
- Conduct ADAS calibrations and work on advanced driver-assistance systems
- Handle diesel engine repairs and auto body repairs as needed
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical tools to complete repairs efficiently
- Follow manufacturer specifications for vehicle maintenance and repair procedures
- Inspect vehicles for safety issues and ensure all repairs meet quality standards
- Maintain detailed service records for each vehicle serviced
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction
Skills
- Proven mechanic experience with a strong understanding of automotive electrical systems, powertrain, and vehicle maintenance
- Dealership experience is highly desirable
- Proficiency with automotive diagnostics software and schematics interpretation
- Knowledge of ADAS systems, alignment procedures, and GM vehicle specifics
- Ability to repair diesel engines and perform auto body work when necessary
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive service tools
- Mechanical knowledge with an emphasis on automotive electrical systems and maintenance procedures
