As an Engineered Wood Technician, you’ll work hands-on with engineered wood products to support our customers’ projects with accurate cuts, quality materials, and safe, efficient service.
What You’ll Do
- Work with engineered wood products to fulfill customer orders
- Cut material to precise lengths per customer requests using a chainsaw
- Review customer orders and cut lists to ensure accurate lengths and quantities
- Safely operate forklifts (training available)
- Measure, mark, and verify cuts using basic math and measurement tools
- Inspect materials for quality and defects, reporting issues as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow all safety policies and procedures and use required PPE
Schedule
- Full-time schedule
- Overtime or extended hours available
What We’re Looking For
- Experience with engineered wood products or in a lumber yard environment preferred
- Chainsaw experience and comfort working with power tools preferred; willing to train motivated candidates
- Ability to perform basic math and read a tape measure accurately
- Ability to lift, carry, and move engineered wood products (often 50 lbs)
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying conditions
- Able to safely operate or learn to operate a forklift (training provided)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented with a positive attitude
- Located in or willing to commute to the Bozeman, MT area
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
Pay & Benefits
- Pay starting at $28.00 per hour, depending on experience
