Parts Delivery Driver
Summary:
Operates under the supervision of the Parts Manager and is primarily responsible for delivering
product locally to customers. Employee may also be responsible for operating a forklift, pallet
jack, dolly, or other equipment necessary for loading and/or unloading.
Essential Duties:
Delivers product locally to customers
Load, unload, and sort product by operating a forklift, pallet jack, dolly, or other
necessary equipment
Keep a clean and orderly vehicle at all times
Operate the vehicle and other machinery in a safe manner
Develops and maintains courteous and effective working relationships with clients, vendors,
and/or any other representatives of external organizations
Provide outstanding customer service and communicate to customers regarding their purchased
parts and/or scheduled delivery
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Must have a Valid Chauffeurs License
Forklift Certification Required
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one (1) to three (3) months related
experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Work Environment:
The employee will be exposed to moving parts. Exposed also to grease, chemicals, dust, dirt, and
the heat and cold of the outdoors when in the shop area.
This position requires the employee to drive for extended periods of time. Employees must also be
able to lift at least 50 pounds.
