Sales Business Development Manager (BDC)

Build a team that turns customer interest into showroom visits. Kings Toyota is looking for a hands-on Sales Business Development Manager who enjoys developing people, improving a process, and seeing the results. With approximately 3,000 leads coming into the store each month, this role has a clear impact on the customer experience and our sales operation.
The opportunity
You will lead our sales BDC team, set daily priorities, and work closely with the new and used car managers. You will have room to coach, solve problems, and help shape how we respond to leads and bring customers into both showrooms. Success will be visible in the team you develop and the appointments that become real visits.
What you will do
• Coach and motivate BDC representatives with daily direction, useful feedback, and clear expectations.
• Drive timely lead response and customer follow-up for new and used vehicles.
• Help the team set and confirm appointments with the right shopping details and arrival location.
• Partner with sales managers on vehicle availability, appointment coverage, and smooth handoffs.
• Use VinSolutions to measure response, contact, appointments, verified shows, and follow-up opportunities.
• Keep CRM records and appointment outcomes accurate, then use the results to improve each month.
What we are looking for
• 2 years of vehicle sales experience
• Exceptional organization, follow-through, and calm judgment in a high-volume environment.
• A track record of leading people, coaching performance, and building accountability.
• Confidence turning reports and measurable results into practical coaching.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-first approach.
• Automotive sales management or finance experience preferred.
• Five or more years in the automotive business or a high-volume call center preferred.
• Experience with VinSolutions or a comparable CRM is a plus.
