Lebanon Ford has a rare opening for a Service Advisor in our busy service department.

This is not simply a position for someone who knows cars. We’re looking for someone who knows how to take care of people.

Our Service Advisors listen, communicate clearly, solve problems, coordinate repairs, and make sure customers feel informed and valued throughout the entire service process.

Automotive experience is a plus—but not required. We can teach automotive. We are looking for the right person.

What You’ll Do

As a Service Advisor, you’ll be the primary point of contact between our customers and technicians.

• Welcome customers and listen carefully to their concerns

• Explain recommended maintenance and repairs clearly and professionally

• Prepare and manage repair orders

• Communicate pricing, timelines, and repair updates

• Handle warranty concerns and documentation

• Work closely with technicians to keep repairs moving efficiently

• Recommend appropriate repairs, maintenance, products, and services

• Help turn a potentially stressful vehicle repair into a smooth, professional experience

Our dealership is busy, so successful Service Advisors need to move quickly without making the customer feel rushed.

• Friendly, approachable, and confident with customers

• Strong communicator and listener

• Organized, detail-oriented, dependable, and accountable

• Comfortable multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment

• Comfortable discussing pricing and recommended repairs

• Professional under pressure

• Coachable, team-oriented, and motivated to improve

• Someone who believes “that’s not my job” isn’t part of great customer service

We believe exceptional service comes from the small things—greeting someone quickly, keeping them informed, anticipating what they need, and following through on what you promised.

Qualifications

• Current or recent customer service experience

• Automotive experience helpful, but not required

• Strong communication, computer, and multi-tasking skills

• Ability to learn and use CDK daily

• High school diploma or equivalent; college is a plus

• Satisfactory employment references

• Ability to pass a background check

• Must be at least 18 years old
