Shift Into Your New Role as an Accounting Clerk:
Kenwood Dealer Group has a need for an Accounting Clerk. Applicant is responsible for reviewing, reconciling, and correcting accounting schedules and working directly with management on accounting related tasks. Great attention to detail in a high-volume work environment is a must. Applicant will also cross train for other administrative positions in the future in addition to any other duties as assigned. Position will be located in our corporate office on Socialville-Foster near the Mason-Montgomery intersection.
Responsibilities
- Reconcile scheduled accounts
- Provide accounting and clerical support
- Type accurately, prepare and maintain accounting documents and records
- Provide assistance and support to company personnel
- Research, track and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies
- Function in accordance with established standards, and procedures
Qualifications to Drive Your Career Forward:
- 2 years accounting experience
- Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures
- Competency in MS Office, Excel, hands-on experience with spreadsheets.
- Accuracy and attention to detail and being well organized
- Ability to perform filing and record keeping tasks
- Data entry and word processing skills
- High school degree / GED
Preference may be given to individuals with:
- Experience in automotive administration
- Attention to detail; ability to multi-task
- CDK experience; advanced computer skills
- Associates degree or relevant certification is a plus
