POSITION: Safety Officer
SCHEDULE: Monday thru Friday, 38 weeks
Essential Job Functions
- Ensure the safety of students and staff
- Build positive relationships with student body, staff and parent/guardians
- Enforce the Student Code of Conduct
- Patrol interior and exterior of facility
- Assist administration/staff with daily needs
- Perform necessary report writing/documentation duties
- Other duties assigned by administration/supervisor
- Available to work various events in the evening and on weekends
- Ability to work in an economically, culturally and racially diverse environment.
- Regular, reliable and punctual attendance

Qualifications
- Must be a high school graduate
- Minimum of two years of college level Criminal Justice courses or related work experience preferred
- Public relations experience
