What are the responsibilities and job description for the Community Support Associate (KRCC - Perry Crisis House) position at Kentucky River Community Care?
Employment Type: Regular Full-Time
Credentials required: High School Diploma or GED, experience working with homeless youth ages 14 - 25.
Special Skills: Ability to utilize an electronic medical record, effective interpersonal skills, basic understanding of mental health with one year experience working with homeless youth.
Primary Functions:
- Provide individual and group services
- Teaching emotion regulation, crisis coping, independent living, and other skills as needed.
- Educate clients on community resources and how to access them.
- Complete weekly reports.
- Develop monthly calendars.
- Drive transportation van.
- Report to the TAY Assistant Director.
