Radiologic Technologist (Orthopedic Practice) – Full-Time
Kentucky Orthopaedics & Spine (KOS) is seeking a motivated, patient-focused Radiologic Technologist to join our growing team! This position will primarily perform diagnostic imaging while traveling between several of our Central Kentucky clinic locations as needed.
Our radiology team works with a variety of imaging modalities, including digital X-ray, MRI, and fluoroscopy. Experience with X-ray is required. MRI & Fluoroscopy experience is preferred but not required—we are willing to train the right candidate.

Position Summary
The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for producing high-quality diagnostic images while providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced orthopedic practice. This position will perform digital X-ray imaging, assist with fluoroscopic procedures, and have the opportunity to cross-train in MRI. Travel between KOS clinic locations is required to provide radiology coverage based on operational needs.
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality diagnostic X-rays following physician orders and established protocols.
- Assist physicians with fluoroscopic imaging procedures.
- Cross-train and perform MRI examinations (training provided for the right candidate).
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and privacy throughout the imaging process.
- Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic medical record.
- Verify image quality and communicate with providers regarding imaging needs.
- Maintain radiology equipment and adhere to all radiation safety standards.
- Travel between clinic locations as needed.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, physicians, and fellow team members.
Qualifications
- Current Kentucky Radiologic Technologist license (full license) required
- ARRT certification preferred.
- Experience performing diagnostic X-rays required.
- MRI experience is a plus but not required—we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Experience with fluoroscopy is preferred.
- Strong patient care, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between KOS clinic locations.
Preferred Candidate: We are seeking a fully licensed Radiologic Technologist capable of performing diagnostic X-ray examinations independently. While we appreciate all applicants, candidates with limited radiography licenses will be considered only if they meet the imaging needs of the position.
