What are the responsibilities and job description for the Rides Mechanic - Full time Year Round position at Kentucky Kingdom?
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Conduct daily safety inspections of rides.
- Perform required preventive maintenance on rides, vehicles, and other equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair rides, vehicles, and other equipment including subsystems.
- Always follow all safety rules and regulations when performing assignments.
- Document time and materials used in performing duties.
- Maintain a clean environment, including tools and equipment, by following company guidelines.
- Conduct scheduled maintenance and inspections.
- Assist coworkers as requested.
- Additional responsibilities as assigned.
Job requirements include the following:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 18 years old.
- Basic tools needed to perform job duties.
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience that provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities will be evaluated on an individual basis.
- Valid driver’s license for use of company vehicles.
Must successfully complete pre-employment drug screen and background check.
