Starting Pay: $19.00
General Function:
This position is based in Somerset. The ideal candidate with live in Somerset or the surrounding area. Responsible for assisting delivery team in merchandising Kentucky Eagle’s product line at customer sites while providing support to the Delivery and Sales team in the Somerset, KY market. We will provide a company vehicle to use during business hours.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist Delivery team to stock coolers and shelves at customer sites.
- Ensure proper stock rotation in assigned retail accounts and notify appropriate personnel of potential freshness issues that follow company and supplier guidelines.
- Build and maintain beverage product displays in retail accounts.
- Install and place permanent and paper Point-of-Sale materials.
- Ensure price are visible on displays and shelves.
- Maintain all company areas, equipment and vehicle in accordance with Kentucky Eagle standards.
- Communicate with store personnel and other Kentucky Eagle team members.
- Provide support for sales promotions and special events.
- Complete administrative paperwork including daily submissions of tracking forms.
- Normal work day begins at approximately 6am.
Minimum requirements:
- Must be at least 20 years of age.
- Prior retail or merchandising experience strongly preferred.
- 1 year experience of B2B customer service preferred.
- Must have a valid Driver’s License with a driving record acceptable to company insurance carrier.
- Must be able to sit, stand, walk, climb, squat, bend and twist.
- Must be able to perform repetitive lifting of product up to 30 pounds.
- Must be able to use a two-wheel cart, pallet jack and other equipment.
- Strong internal and external customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work in team setting.
- Ability to work flexible hours with minimal supervision.
- HS Diploma or GED
